At your initial visit Dr. Haynes will sit down with you and teach you about the One Life Diet™. Together you will determine an appropriate goal weight and decide which appetite suppressant will work best for your weight loss. After the doctor completes your medical evaluation, you will be given a "Metabolic Booster" injection that is a combination of viamin B-12 and several other vitamins. You will also be provided with a week's worth of medication and supplements.

WEEKLY VISITS- $75
Dr. Haynes will then meet with you weekly, one-on-one, for personal counseling and teaching. This approach ensures that once you reach your weight loss goal, you will have the knowledge and tools necessary to maintain your weight loss for the rest of your life. At each visit you will also receive your weekly medication and your "Metabolic Booster' injection.

Alcohol & Weight Loss

Alcohol, sadly, contains a lot of calories. And they can add up quickly. Most cocktails weigh in somewhere between 200 to 300 calories. Multiply that by 3 or 4 drinks and pretty soon you are looking at a day’s worth of calories - just from alcohol.

The reality is, the more you drink the harder it is to lose or maintain your weight. That doesn’t mean that you can’t drink at all, but if you do, it is essential that you limit the amount of calories that you consume from alcohol.

Good Low-Calorie Alcohol Choices

  • Light beer with less than 100 calories per bottle: MGD 64 and Beck’s Premier Light (both have only 64 calories)
  • Wine spritzers (wine + club soda)
  • Half a shot of liquor with Diet Coke, diet tonic water or seltzer.
  • Select low-calorie cocktails: Martinis, Bloody Marys, Manhattans.
  • Whatever you do, avoid any drink with an umbarella or speared fruit.
